Move Mobility Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

On March 26 Act 2015 was passed into law in the United Kingdom which requires all business entities that carry on a business or part of business,in any part of the UK to prepare and publish a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year of the organisation.

The law also creates the obligation to report on steps taken to ensure that steps taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of its supply chain or in any part of its business.

As Move Mobility operates in the UK, it abides by this law.

This policy applies to Move Mobility Ltd and we wish to confirm that we respect the environment, the communities in which we operate and our employee’s human rights, and we oppose corruption.

Move Mobility Environmental Policy

Move Mobility recognises its responsibility to maintaining a sound environment for its employees and its customer database.

We also recognise the importance of our activities on the environment and constantly strive to find ways in which we can conserve energy and minimise waste in the way we operate.

This policy is underpinned by our board of directors, and we aim to review and acknowledge any changes on an annual basis.

Ways in which we acknowledge our responsibilities:

Waste Management

It is our policy to work with our staff and suppliers to ensure that all waste is disposed of in line with legal and environmental requirements. This includes a contract with a waste management company to remove waste on a weekly basis.

Recycling

Where we can, we ensure that we recycle products and packaging, and we reuse parts wherever possible. We also reuse cardboard where we can and any which is not needed if taken to a recycling centre on a fortnightly basis.

We also recycle plastic packaging and batteries with a local drop off centre.

Energy Conservation

We run a number of initiatives in our offices from using metres to save electricity, gas and water and poster campaigns to encourage staff to turn the central heating down and turn lights on only when necessary. Our offices are fitted with LED panel lights in the suspended ceiling which are also energy efficient.
